Soreng District of Sikkim lies at an altitude of 500 mtr to 2600 mtr with unique and countryside escape of endless waves of agricultural fields and the terraced slopes, intercepted by spring patched forests and encompasses a total area of around 17640 hectares. . The Akar Bridge,Jorethang is entry point to Soreng district from Namchi district.
